What is A.C.P.A.?

A.C.P.A. is the Arizona Crime Prevention Association, Inc. located at www.acpa.net. ACPA is an Arizona non-profit 501(c)3 corporation created in 1977 by crime prevention officers, civilian employees, volunteers, and members of security and loss prevention industries, dedicated to the promotion of Crime Prevention Awareness throughout the state of Arizona. The A.C.P.A. through the years has provided cutting edge instruction and programs to assist Law Enforcement, businesses and citizens in the reduction and prevention of crime.

What does a subscription cost?

Subscription pricing is $149 per single license. Check website for current pricing. Pricing is subject to change and we reserve the right to offer discounts, group pricing or sales.

Why is the subscription price so low?

The goal of ACPA is to provide the most value for the cost. Working in government and public safety, we know it is difficult to obtain programming funds. We wanted to be able to provide a program that could meet the budget of all organizations. Providing digital content allows us to do just that. Our program is one of the lowest priced programs available, yet maintaining the highest standards for content and curricula. If you research similar competitor programs, you will find our pricing a great value.

How long is a subscription period?

A safety Kids Subscription is [3] three years from date of registration/date of purchase.

What does a subscription provide?

A safety Kids Subscription provides access to registered subscribers password protected website to access and download program material 24/7. We are not responsible for technical difficulties due to equipment failure, loss of connection, hosting downtime, website maintenance, internet service providers or wi-fi connectivity. A sample of the digital content and a sample curriculum is available at the Safety Kids website. www.safetykids.org.

What is the renewal price to keep a subscription active?

Subscriptions are not renewed automatically. Subscribers can check the website for current pricing or discounts offered for renewal.

Can I use the Safety Kids Program after a subscription is expired?

Yes. You may continue to teach curricula and use the program materials. You will no longer have access to online materials, updates, new programs or content after subscription period ends.

Can a subscription be transferred to another person?

Yes. A subscription may be transferred to another subscriber for a $50 administration fee. Fee may be paid in store. After fee is paid, email will be sent to contact provided and new login will be created. Previous subscriber will be removed from access.

Can I allow others to use my access to obtain materials?

No. It is not permitted, at any time, to transfer or otherwise transmit his or her Subscription to any third party; cannot lease his or her Subscription to any third party.

Can you cancel my subscription?

Yes. Safety Kids© may investigate any reported or suspected violation of the Terms of Agreement, its policies or any complaints and take any action that it deems appropriate and reasonable under the circumstance to protect its Intellectual Property. Safety Kids© reserves the right to revoke the authorization to view, download, and print the Safety Kids© program content on the Site at any time, and any such use shall be discontinued immediately upon notice from Safety Kids.

Can I charge a fee for teaching the Safety Kids Curriculum or program?

No. A Subscription purchase grants you exclusive use solely by you for your own personal use and not for commercial profit, republication, distribution, assignment, sublicense, sale, preparation of derivative works; or other use for a period of [3] five years from date of registration/purchase.

Can a subscriber sell program materials?

No. A Subscriber may only download from Site, reproduce in hard copy or electronic format curriculum material, handouts, posters, music, videos and follow-up material to be used in teaching the Program and is not for commercial profit.

How can a subscriber use graphics, images or slogans?

A subscriber may use only authorized graphics and slogans for reprinting on marketing materials, collateral and/or give-a-ways. These pre-approved graphics and slogans are available for download on the Site. Safety Kids© reserves the right to revoke the authorization to view, download, and print the Safety Kids© program content and User Content available on this Site at any time, and any such use shall be discontinued immediately upon notice from Safety Kids©. The rights granted to you constitute a license and not a transfer of title.

How often is new material posted on the website?

The Arizona Crime Prevention Association, Inc. is a non-profit and run by volunteer public safety personnel who work full time jobs at police or other organizations. We will do our best to develop and post program material when we can.

How will we know if material is new?

Any new material will be posted as new and the date of when the material was added. E-Mail notification will be sent to registered subscribers when new content is added.

Is training available?

No. The Arizona Crime Prevention Association does no have staff available to provide classroom training. The Safety Kids program has been designed and provided at a low cost, so that, the end user may download and utilize the program materials.
 
What if I have a question about the program?
 
You may complete the "Contact Us" form. As the ACPA, Inc. is run by full time law enforcement who volunteer their time to the association, responses may not be immediate. We will do our best to respond to your request as soon as possible.
